About Butler

Say hello to Butler. This adorable little Yorkie is only 4.6 years old. He weighs 8.2 pounds. Butler is being fostered in Odessa, FL. INITIAL BIO 05/17/2018: Butler is a very sweet little guy. Unfortunately, his owner was not able to give Butler the care and time he needed. He was being left alone for hours and hours at a time. Poor little fella - that is certainly not the life for a sweet and very active puppy like him. Butler is a very playful and energetic fellow, and being left alone was just so hard for him. He needed time to play, time and run, and to just have fun like a young dog should have. Although he has only been in his foster home for a few days, his foster parents already know he is full of energy and fun. He seems to like everyone he has met, people and dogs. Butler will soon be having his neuter and a dental and then should be ready to be adopted. His foster parents will be working with him on his house-training, since it appears no one really spent the time with him to teach him where it is and is not appropriate to do his business. Butler rode in the car well, but foster mom could tell he wasn't accustomed to car rides. He was a bit fidgety and anxious, but that is to be expected. Because of all the time Butler spent alone, his foster mom feels that he truly needs to go into a forever home where there is someone home with him most of the day. There is still much more to know about Butler. Come back soon as we all get to know this sweet boy a bit better. PLEASE NOTE: Due to Butler's small size, he cannot go into a home with children under the age of 14 years old.
