About Ella

My name is Ella, and I need a forever home. I am eight years old and a retired ranch dog. My mama was a registered Australian kelpie straight from Down Under, and dad was a registered border collie. That means I'm super intelligent, well behaved and obedient.Despite my smarts and good looks, my owner didn't want me any more. He gave me to someone, but I decided I didn't want to stay there. So I roamed the streets of Blanco and found Sheryl and James. When they went on a trip, I got to stay at the vet clinic. It was fun, except for the surgery part (I got something called 'spaying') and a bunch of shots. A bath, too. Here's some more good news: I don't have heart worms. I was really relieved to hear that part. Anyway, Sheryl and James love me. I know they do. And I love them like lots lots LOTS. But I did a bad thing. My instincts tell me to chase cats. So I did. Sheryl hollered at me, but I couldn't help going after a gray cat in the bushes. Now I know I can't live here. It just wouldn't work. So I'm praying that God sends me The Perfect Owner real SOON. Someone who will keep me by his or her side because I want to love someone forever and ever.
