I am located in Columbia, South Carolina!I found an abandoned American English Coon Hound on the side of the road. I picked him up off the highway after watching cars swerve around him so as not to hit him. I tried to return him to every house in the vicinity, and they all said the same thing 'he has been wandering the highway for about two weeks, hunters often abandon their dogs here, its a matter of time before he gets hit'. I am unsure of his vaccination history, but he is not neutered. Upon me getting out of my car and calling him over, he ran over almost immediately and followed me to every house. He is extremely sweet and lovable. He seems partly trained and a little bit older. He is very calm and if I wasn't moving and if my apartment allowed for dogs I would keep him in a heart beat. I really do not want to give him to the pound, because I know he could fit right in to a loving family. I am moving out of state and there is no way I can keep him. Please please please consider taking him in. With his amazing personality he will get adopted within days!!! It is best to reach me by email or call/text. He is seriously the sweetest dog I am almost positive his owner abandoned him. He is begging to be loved!!!!
