About Palmer

Arf Arf! I'm Palmer and I am looking for my happily ever after! You see my previous family left me at a kill shelter and I started to deteriorate there so this nice rescue came and saved me! I was diagnosed with a collapsing trachea so now I take meds which keeps me from coughing. They say I'm a good boy and are so happy with my response to medications. I am working on house training, but a belly band helps avoid a mess on the rare occasion that I mark. I love the man of the house and love to hug legs! I do like to guard things, but distracting me with treats allows for the item to be removed. I need an understanding family that will care for my medical needs and nurture my quirks. I get along great with other dogs, love people, and enjoy car rides. I am crate trained and leash trained, but would love a home where I can sleep in bed with my family.
