No one wants a message saying find a home for our dog or we will put her down. This is exactly what happened with Emly. Friend's of Emily could not let that happen, so she sprung into action and had Emily surrendered to her care. Emily is now safe in boarding but that is no place long term for an animal. Emily is a 4-year-old German Shepherd who weighs approx. 70 lbs. She's great with people (kids included), housebroken, crate trained, obedience trained, spayed, and up to date on all of her shots. She is microchipped. Emily is friendly with most large sized dogs but can be selective. Emily is looking for a home with GSD experience, as if allowed to she will run the show. While Emily has lived with both female and male dogs, I believe she would do best living with large male dogs who are submissive. No small animals and no female dogs, please. Emily has a condition known as Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) which means without added enzymes to her food (low fat or gluten free) each meal her body won't digest the food and nutrients properly. Along with the enzymes, Emily also gets a B12 injection once a week. Anyone interested in adopting or even fostering Emily, please fill out an application online or contact us form. Adoption & fostering process will include a home visit.
