About Hershey

Meet Hershey! Age: estimate 1 year old Breed: chocolate lab mix Weight: about 35ish pounds Training: crate & leash trained, doing excellent with house training. Hershey rides well in the car, and knows sit, shake, and eager to learn much more. Personality: Hershey is as sweet as a Hershey's chocolate! She is very friendly and active. She is playful and loves other dogs. Dog/cat friendly? Yes for both. Hershey found herself on a shelters euthanasia list and luckily someone happened to see her and saved her life, the same day she was scheduled to be put down! Her rescuer couldn't keep her and asked us for help in finding her a forever home. Hershey is very friendly to everyone she meets. She does well with a 2 year old child in her foster home as well as other dogs and cats. Hershey is very active so does need a place to run off leash or trips to the dog park. Her foster home is on a farm, and she is already able to go off leash! Her pictures do not do her justice, she has a stunning and unique coat!
