He loves walks and chewing on bones and lounging in a fenced yard. He needs a home with Chow Chow experience. Loves his people, wary of strangers, but with enough patience and good owners, he could be a good family dog (no kids under 12). When he is feeling safe/confident, he's really laid back. Nervous/scared of other dogs, though how he reacts to them depends a lot on how they react to him initially. We've seen him interact just fine with dogs who are laid back and don't mind any kind of dog. But if the dog or person even makes the first move he will defend himself, especially on leash. We've seen though that his true reaction is to run away from any kind of conflict, so we know he's not aggressive as he's been labeled, making it difficult to adopt him out and puts him at risk of being euthanized (he was already rescued from euthanasia once). He just needs a second chance at life. Lincoln really is a sweet, charming boy who loves his people. Please save this fluffy love.
