About Hunter

Pointer / German Shorthaired Pointer
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Hunter is a precious young soul, he was stray fending for himself, dehydrated & starving when he heard the dogs at the kill shelter & presented himself there with tail wagging looking to make friends & maybe get fed. Workers admitted him, it was noted that Hunter had one beautiful blue had one beautiful blue eye, and his other eye was partially missing due to being injured. No one claimed Hunter and nobody applied to adopt him, perhaps fearing potentially large medical bills due to severely damaged eye. We were contacted by a Shelter Volunteer with pictures & told us how he wandered up as a injured stray but captured hearts of shelter staff & volunteers. Now he was out of time & shelter was full... euthanasia would have been his fate had we not stepped up in faith to save him. Our veterinarians took care of his nueter, vaccines, kennel cough, HW & Lyme test ect.. and Hunters Foster home nursed him back to a healthy weight, acclimated him to indoor living, a comfortable bed, good food, taught him basic social skills, how to walk on leash, crate & potty trained him & gave him plenty of guidance and %BD%9D%A4%BD%BD%8F . Hunter is a very sweet boy who loves chewing on bones, sharing his toys with his friends, fetching, hanging outside with his foster family or lounging on the couch watching TV. Hunter has moderate energy level & Will make some fortunate person or family and awesome and devoted companion.
