About Homer

Homer is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Homer is currently fostered in Dade City, FL (Pasco County). Homer is a 1-year-old heeler mix just shy of 40 lbs. He is a nice, average energy and slightly submissive boy who rides well in the car and walks well on lead. He knows some basic commands. He prefers the company of quieter, gentler dogs in his foster home and has potential to be a wonderful companion dog. He would do fine in a home without other dogs as well. He is a bit timid of loud noises, but promises to be the most wonderful boy to all the humans he meets! Homer is housebroken, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm negative.
