About Brandon

No out of state adoptions. He must remain local in the LA and Orange County areas of California. This stunning fellow is Brandon. He is a purebred Doberman Pinscher that came to us from China. He is a survivor of the China dog meat industry. He is 2 years old and he currently weighs 69 pounds. These pictures are of when he first came in at 54 pounds. We have put 15 pounds on him and he is GORGEOUS. Brandon has a glowing, soft, silky, black coat now and he is an awesome dog. He loves all people and is good on leash walking in public. His foster mom walks him on the strand in Hermosa and he does great. He will be great as an only dog, if you do have another dog a medium sized female would do best with him. He tends to chase small things like squirrels. We just adore this big handsome boy! He is not much of a watch/guard dog. His personality is very friendly. He is learning to sit for treats and is completely housebroken using a doggie door. He takes his treats very gently. Since coming from China, he has picking up on English very quickly and his leash walking skills are pretty good. Brandon has seen the vet and is in great health. We would love to place him with Doberman experienced people or anyone with power breed experience. We are looking for homeowners with a house and a yard for him to run and play. He LOVES his toys!!! NO apt or rental living for him please. Kids should be over the age of 10 please. He is very curious towards cats.
