About Rae

Rae may have had a tough life, but she sure has a beautiful spirit! She's a 2 year old bully breed mix who arrived at ACL as a stray. She had some injuries and scars that indicate a rough early life, but she couldn't be sweeter! Rae loves giving kisses and hugs to people - she's got a huge heart that can't wait to find a family! Rae is housebroken and good on her leash - she is eager to please and will continually check in with her handler to make sure she's going what they want. Rae loves to play with other dogs, but she has a special 'type' that she prefers - she's great with tolerant, easygoing male dogs. With the right play partner, this girl is in heaven! She is not comfortable with other female dogs with strong personalities. We're confident that with time to adjust and relax in a real home, Rae will get even better with dogs of all shapes and sizes. We can't say how she'd do with cats, though she doesn't seem to have a strong interest in small animals. Rae is destined to be a warm, snuggly couch potato - you just provide the couch!
