About Rusty

Rusty is a full-blood Flame Point Himalayan: a 10 lb., 14 yr. old LOVE! His 93 yr old Owner kept him on Hill's Science Diet his entire Adult Life: He is healthy. The ONLY reason Rusty needs a new home is his Owner's recent age-related health issues forced them to move... but where Rusty cannot accompany. Since Friday 5/11/18 Rusty has been in a temporary home, with two large aggresive adult male cats under 2 yrs. Rusty is NOT aggresive, truly trustworthy to use his litter box, and NEVER destructive. He deserves much TLC from a truly commited LOVING family...for which Rusty PROMISES to return their LOVE, abundantly. His Owner obtained Rusty directly from his Breeder. He was born two days before Thanksgiving, and was brought Home first week of New Year, with Papers for Registration. However, his Owner wanted him purely for a Pet, not for Shows/Breeding, so she never Registered Rusty...and lost original Papers. Rusty is an extremely loving and gentle creature, with a quiet voice. His Owner (and Foster) require sincerely commitments for Adoption: #1) LOVE HIM! Give him loving attention every day, #2) Continued Diet of top-quality food: Science Diet Indoor Age Defying - Adult 11 (or equivalent), #3) proper Grooming, as all Himalayan Cats require: Regular Bathing, and Daily Brushing...to avoid mats. (recommend Aristocats, if possible.), #4) Never put out of doors where he has had zero experience and has zero interest, #5) Immunizations kept up to date, with Annual Physicals at Vet and commitment to proper health care all of his days... (LOVE!)
