About Aquarius

Aquarius is a 19yo OTTB. He's a sweet, gentle gelding with personality. He's the first to greet visitors at the gate and slobber on them. He is an extremely brave horse whom I've literally never seen spook. Has never threatened to bite, kick, rear, or buck. (Unless ripping around turn out, of course!) He's excellent at liberty, perfect longe line mount, lead line, and light arena work. I could see him going back into work with a pony clubber, but he has not been in consistent work for a year & a half (random hacks & trail rides throughout) so I'm advertising him 'as is.' No soundness issues. Only maintenance is MSM for light arthritis, does not affect his ability to work or enjoy life at all. Aquarius is jovial and considerate. The rudest thing he might do is pull a little kid over to grass, but is easy for an able handler to remind him his manners. He's even done some therapeutic riding and liberty work. I have experience with PATH, as far as his eligibility for that it would depend on the program and what exact role you're looking for him to fill. I could see him excelling in an educational program, equine assisted psychotherapy, anywhere with lots of visitors to say hi to! He loves attention. Pony club. Adult who wants a horse to love, light riding. English or Western, snaffle or hackamore. Super fun on trail for confident, strong rider. Not a packer on trail. Last trim 04/30. Dewormed 05/02. Teeth and West Nile vaccine 05/02. Week of Psyllium starting 05/12. Rehoming due to my personal health, need to downsize. Loving home with lots of attention a must.
