Gus is looking for a home. He was originally found when he was a pup as a stray and is partially blind in his left eye due to a traumatic injury when he was rescued (he has come a long way to gaining his confidence back despite this speed bump). His owner had to give up Gus as their older male dog is a bit of a grouch (dominant) and not terribly tolerant of a younger sibling. Training lessons were tried but the 2 dogs were just not a good fit for each other. There is a 3rd dog in the house, a female and they both get along with her. He is about 1 year old. He looks like a lab mix and maybe a little boxer. -Overall, a really relaxed and laid-back dog -Cuddle bug beyond your wildest cuddling dreams -He loves to play with toys -He knows sit and stay for approximately 6.2 seconds (a work in progress) -House trained and knows how to use a doggie door The family couldn't keep Gus anymore. He is at the Albuquerque Animal Shelter Eastside. His impound # is A1764339 For more information call: Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department - Eastside at (505) 768-1975 Ask for information about animal ID number A1764339
