About Molly

Hello everyone, I'd like to introduce myself my name is Molly. They tell me I'm about 9 years young and that I might be a Fieste Mix. I'm a little thing only about 40#. Foster mom (FM) calls me Unsinkable after Molly Brown, from the Titanic. No matter how bad things get, I'm still happy and looking for a cookie. Recently I was on my very own Titanic and sinking fast. My family became overwhelmed with my health problems and surrendered me to a shelter in North Carolina. It didn't look good for me, but then Operation Save a Shelter Dog spotted me and sent a life boat fast. I was so very happy to see that life boat, I jumped on without a backward glance. The next thing I knew I was in Virginia Beach and foster mom said I was fixable and got busy. First thing was a bath and some yummy food. Then I headed for the vet's office. My itchy skin and ear infections are all gone, even the nasty hematoma on one ear is healed. FM says gone forever. The only thing left will take a little longer but I hear that will eventually be gone forever as well. You see I am Heartworm Positive. So now I'm looking for a forever home of my very own. I'm a medium energy lady with a lot to tell you about. I know my house manners, came that way. I'm crate trained but prefer snuggles with my person. We are working on my leash manners, but if you have a fenced yard I'm good. I love to ride in a car and will drive if you let me. I am now Heart Worm negative; my skin and ears are all fixed and I'm ready for my new home. Please contact Operation Save a Shelter Dog and they will check my social calendar and schedule something.
