About Voilet

Violet was rescued from the Garland Mesquite Animal Shelter after she had been confiscated from her previous owners for cruelty. She was hugely pregnant and about to be put to sleep in the shelter. During her foster care with Apollo, she had 12 puppies but there were complications, she had to be rushed to the Vet for emergency c-section. We lost 4 puppies during her labor. Apollo found all 8 of her remaining puppies great homes. Violet is about 7 years old, female, Pit Bull. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her shots. She gets along with other dogs male/female, large/small really well. She really likes to love on her people and is very sweet and affectionate. Violet is great with Children and adults too. She walks well on a leash, and is house trained. Violet would do best in a home with other dogs she can play with that won't be aggressive toward her. She would also enjoy life as an only dog if her owners worked from home or were home most of the time so she won't get lonely. Coming from such a bad situation before, Violet has whole heartedly accepted the good life and is excelling in a family environment. When she is not on the couch taking a nap, or looking out the window for her foster kids to get home from school, Violet loves to just hang out and do whatever her people are doing and be where they are. One of her favorite pastimes is to relax basking in the sunshine in her foster home's backyard. She is a very loyal dog that will stay by your side and appreciate all the goodness her new life has to offer.
