About Poncho

Poncho is a Lurcher, which means he is predominately greyhound mixed with another hound type. In his case, he has Staghound in him. He was bred and trained to hunt coyote in Colorado. Now, he is transitioning to retirement life in foster care. He is very affectionate, has good manners, uses the dog door and walks well on a leash. Poncho has big, brown almond-shaped eyes and some scars from his former hunting life. Please open your heart to this big, loveable boy. He deserves to have a loving home where he can be treated well and enjoy being retired.
