About GOLD NUGGET

I would like to Introduce to you Gold Nugget... Mr. Nugget was dumped on the Streets of Manhatten completely matted, with serve matting under his eyes, and rotted teeth. This tiny little 7 pound precious soul was just dumped to fend for himself. At one time I do believe he was a cherished member of a family and then something had to have gone wrong in his life. You see Mr. Nugget is house trained he will go outside to potty however if you miss a potty break he will also use a pee pad but truly prefers to go outside. He walks excellent on a leash. He loves to be in the same room as his family if not he will bark and let you know you forgot him in another room. He really has not been sitting in my lap however he does sit beside me whenever I am in the room with him and he doesn't leave my side to far. He is not a fan of being brushed he loves the wild look and if you do get him brushed and looking pretty he will shake it off and go back to the wild look again. He is okay with a bath but he does prefer you do not take your time and get the job done. I have been trimming his hair on the fly he is not a big fan of that either, he maybe different with a professional groomer, however, that is just not in the rescue budget so I have been doing it a little here and there. Even though he is an older gentleman he still has alot of life left in him and would make someone a wonderful companion. He is such a sweet guy and so deserves a wonderful home, where he will once again be a cherished member of a loving family. The adoption fee will depend on how far I have to drive to do the home inspection. We do have an application process, which you will need to either call me or e-mail me to receive. I also do a personal home check with Mr. Nugget to make sure the home is a good match for him as well as you.
