Meet Iris, she is a chihuahua/corgi, about 2 years old. She was rescued with her little family from a high kill shelter in New Mexico. that was filthy with disease. Iris and her puppies were put into a cold cage and there they waited for their number to be called. Iris was a great mom and kept her babies close and fed them and made sure their needs were taken care of. She never thought about herself and her needs and how scared she was, she kept her family together. Throughout her incarceration Iris has managed to maintain her sweetness. She is a very loving little sweetheart who is looking to find her furever home. Iris is a bit timid at first, but who wouldn't be? Can you blame her, she has been through so much in her short life. She is housetrained, but can have accidents at first. She needs a little patience and a lot of love. Iris loves to cuddle and loves to be with her human. She would make a great companion to any loving home. Iris deserves a great life with a family who loves her. If you would like to meet Iris, please send an application to www.lowridersofthewest.org Iris's adoption fee is $275.00, which includes her spay, vaccinations and chip.
