Cash is a 3yr old male Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler. He is a very loving dog. He roams the house and the yard. He's a good protector. He loves to play fetch, do some tricks, play in the water and be loved on. He also loves herding our kids, which has become an issue. I understand that is their job and they are bred for herding which is great, just not for my younger kids. We have tried to stop his behavior but haven't had any success. He is very strong willed and will mainly listen to my husband. He has gotten to the point where if my kids are playing he runs up and nips at them which has turned into something between a nip and a bite now. He is a wonderful dog but I am not willing to keep him and have my kids continue to get hurt from the dog doing what he does naturally. It's not fair for the kids or for him getting in trouble all the time. He is up to date on shots and has flea/tick prevention, he has not been neutered. He was heart worm tested last year and kept on prevention until winter. He has not started back on it yet. He was good with our cat before it died, but chases the neighbors cats if they come in our yard. He gets along with our old chihuahua and doesn't bother the neighboring dogs, even when they get out.
