About Pixie

This is the first and required step of the adoption process. If Pixie's ad is still on the site, then we are still accepting applications. Meet Pixie, this young, 7 pound female was an unclaimed stray. We guess her age to be about 1-2 years old. She is a Chihuahua who has had a litter or two. She is a HAPPY girl. She is a bit leery of strangers grabbing at her, but very friendly and loving quickly. She seems to be somewhat housetrained at the kennel. Pixie has not been in foster so our observations at the kennel are all we can describe. It seems Pixie is comfortable in a crate and likes to be around other dogs. We also think cats would be fine. Pixie would also be fine around children who know to be gentle around small dogs. Ideally, Pixie should have a fenced yard in her forever home, because she is quick, needs to learn to be more comfortable on leash, and we never want to see her stray again!
