About Layla

Layla is about 8.5 months old. She is the most fun and lovable pup there is! She is obsessed with water and a ball chasing fanatic! She knows how to walk loose leash and knows all the basics and a few extra (sit, down, stay, come, wait, leave it, off, no, drop it, fetch, shake paw and wave hello.) We have trained her towards passing the CGC test. (the basic service dog test) She does great with kids once she has gotten to know them, she is a little timid around stranger kids but if you put a treat in front of her face, anyone can pet her! While being with us, she has been walked by all the neighborhood children, and does a very good job:) She is currently timid around dogs at the dog park but will go up to dogs on leash perfectly fine and will play well in anyone's home. We would like her to go to a home with a doggie door, she has been potty trained with one and we prefer her to have the freedom to be indoors or out. She loves to be around people. She is already over 60 pounds! We think she will continue to grow. She loves to go on walks but should not be taken on long runs due to being part german shepherd. Once over 1 year old, runs are will be fun!
