About Petey

Meet our young pup named Petey. He is only 1 year old and quite a handsome fella. Petey weighs 12-1/2 lbs. and is white/brown in color. He is a Chihuahua - Terrier mix. Petey came from another state when their shelter was full. We had him transported to Beavercreek. Since he's been with Puppy Pals Rescue, he's been neutered, all his shots were updated, he was heartworm and fecal tested (results negative), and he has been micro-chipped. This is what his foster home has to say about Petey: If you are looking for a cuddle bug�'�| Petey is your fella. He's really verbal in a funny, pleasant way and has about six different sounds to show his pleasure when getting back rubs, belly rubs, and ear scratches. He is definitely housebroken and is really good when he goes out for walks. He does well with kids (above the age of 5) and is really laid back when we're watching TV. He even likes cats. We have a new kitten that is 5 months old and they go nose to nose quite a bit; our older cat wants nothing to do with him, but he doesn't seem to get the hint. He obeys almost instantly to any command we give him and goes nowhere without being told it's okay first. Petey gets compliments from everyone he meets on what a great dog he is. We would prefer a fenced-in yard for Petey. He loves to run and play in the yard with the other dogs. Being a young dog, he requires exercise.
