About Marty

German Shepherd mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Marty was a stray who showed up on our porch a few years ago. He was in pretty bad health, but we decided to adopt him. The vet thinks he is a Shepherd mix; he looks a lot like an Australian cattle dog with a german shepherd's coloring. He's by far the best dog we've had - very affectionate/loving, obedient, potty-trained, can be left inside the house alone without chewing or getting into anything. However, we now have a 7 month old baby that he has not adjusted well to. We've been looking for a new home for him for about a month, but today he snapped at her and so he has to go ASAP. He's a wonderful dog and we really want him to go to a great home!! He would be great for an older person/couple who doesn't have young grandkids come around, a young single professional, or a family with older kids. Please contact me ASAP if you are interested. We will have to take him to a shelter if we can't find someone in the next day or so.
