AbbyLeigh is being fostered in a loving home through You Lucky Dog Rescue (Alpharetta, GA) I'm AbbyLeigh with the adorable underbite. And I am the perfect pup for a lady who would love to have a sweet, shy little companion. I didn't have the easiest time of it before arriving at You Lucky Dog Rescue and so it takes me a little while to warm up to people I don't know. But, once I do, I'm all about getting lots of attention and, in return, I will shower you with infinite kisses. No one is quite sure what blend of puppy dog I am - I think I must have some whippet/greyhound in me and maybe a little Chihuahua. I weigh about 27 pounds - that's what I call the perfectly sized pup. I have doe-like eyes, a white face and coloring that makes me look like a cheetah. (That fits because I can run like the wind) Whatever I am, everyone tells me I'm very pretty. My perfect forever home will need to understand that, although I have been in a loving home for several months, I'm still a bit skittish, given the hard time I've had most of my life. I've come a long way in my foster home, but I'm going to need a dog-savvy person (preferably female) who understands that I need my space and that I will warm up to you on my own terms. Once I do, though, I am very sweet and I love to give kisses. I am crate trained, and actually like spending quiet time in my crate, and potty-trained. I know sit and stay and I come when I'm called. And I'm great on a leash - I walk calmly with no pulling and listen/respond to all the my Mom tells me. So, to sum 'me' up - I'm an incredibly sweet, affectionate pup who wants to trust and, once I do, will become your BFF. If you will just give me some time and space, I promise I will love you and shower you with kisses and be your most loyal companion.
