About Coral

It has been quite a journey for this stunning beauty. Coral had been picked up as a stray by an animal control. She was a mess, half of her body was missing hair, she was read and itchy. Her eyes were entropian, a condition where the eye lashes grow inwards causing a constant irritation to the eyes. On top of that she was very pregnant. Poor Coral, yet despite her condition she has always been a little champ, so sweet and loving. When she came to rescue she delivered 6 little pups, that were too sick and did not make it. Well, now it was Coral's time to get the care she needed and it has taken her months to reach this point where she is finally adoptable. Coral has gained some much needed weight, her skin has cleared and she has a fantastic horse hair coat. She LOVES to run and play in the yard, loves attention and will greet everyone with a little smile on her face, such a sweetheart. But, sadly we did find out on top of everything else Coral is heartworm positive and has begun treatment. She has her whole life ahead of her, plenty of good things to come. She is an amazing girl, you would never know she had suffered such mistreatment and hardships in her life, she just amazes us. She has a little funny face she makes when we stroke her soft velvet like cheeks, she makes the funniest little smirk, she is quit the character! Coral can go to her new home with her medication for her heartworm treatment and we will follow up and recheck her in 6 months. Coral is about 36 pounds, 5 years old. Her adoption fee is $250.
