About Nessy

All dogs are located in foster homes in Southern Arizona. Please contact Carrie to arrange meet and greets. Poor Nessy was found by Border Patrol. Thank Goodness! Nessy was taken to the Douglas Shelter. She was in terrible shape. She was very thin, full of ticks she had hair loss and no one knew she was blind. So people were just dragging her from place to place since she had no idea where she was going.. Fedwell Farm considers ourselves lucky to have her. She is so appreciative! Nessy is getting the required medical care to have her feeling her best. Nessy is approximately 1 year old and should weigh approximately60 pounds, she is not very big, she is a 'portable German Shepherd' Nessy is quite the personality. She follows her foster mom every where she goes, she even runs a little in safe barrier free areas. Nessy is very friendly, she gets along with other dogs and is a joy in her foster home. Any future dogs in her new home will have to be tolerant and not food aggressive. Blind dogs will trip on other dogs and the dogs need to be tolerant of that . They can't be food aggressive as the blind dog may wander too close to a food aggressive dog and get snapped at. Nessy is young, approximately 2 years old and just wants a family to keep her forever and appreciate her for the wonderful, kind, loving soul that she is.
