About Pearl

It's amazing what 6 weeks of love at a foster home with friendly puppy brothers and sisters can do to completely overhaul a dog's soul. Pearl is playful and friendly and affectionate with kids, adults, and other dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Pearl is a total goofball that loves to wrestle, sunbathe, and chew up toy ropes. She quickly mastered sit in exchange for her favorite treat (frozen pineapple chunks!). Pearl is kennel trained and does well in her kennel during the work day. She'll happily sleep in her kennel too, but she told me she'd really love to sleep in bed at your feet. Pearl is about 90% potty trained (meaning she'll need regular breaks at first to make sure she's set up for success while she adjusts to her new home). She almost never barks or makes any noise except when people walk up to our gate, and then she's a fantastic alarm system. Pearl does great on a leash and hasn't had much experience with hikes or swimming, but if her excitement running around our yard in any indication, she'll love outdoor time. Pearl is an absolute doll, and if you're looking for a friendly dog that can keep up with exciting activities but knows when to chill, then she's your new bestest best friend. She is roughly 1.5 years old, 35 pounds, and the cutest thing she does is when she rolls onto her back to sunbathe while I work outside.
