Meet Finn! This delightful young fellow is truly a turn key dog! We sprung him from Kern County Animal Shelter where he was impounded as a stray but no one ever stepped forward to claim him! He was kenneled at the shelter with 4 other male dogs and what impressed us most was though he was shaking because he was so scared of the shelter he was the first one to make his way to the front of the kennel to be petted. Finn is a terrier mix with what appears to be Border Terrier and Cairn Terrier. He has typical terrier traits such as he is very connected, VERY smart, and playful. He is a non-barker. He is non-shedding and hypoallergenic and is a great color combination of red and white. When you call him he comes prancing over with these silly happy dance feet! Cutest thing ever. Finn is a little guy who is a year old and weighs 8 pounds. He is now in a private home in foster care and is an absolute delight! He gets along with every dog and has no fear of the German Shepherds he lives with! He also lives with small dogs and cats and does not chase nor is he remotely aggressive to anyone. He is also totally trustworthy to be left alone in Finn would do great in almost any type of home whether it be with kids or with a single person. He would love to be with his human all the time and would also do great going to work with someone each day. He is seemingly already housebroken and learned his name Finn in less than a day. His adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccinations, health check, microchip, collar and leash. An adoption fee does apply. As we pre-screen via email please tell us a bit about you such as your lifestyle, work schedule, activity level, breed experience, area you live in, house or apartment, how many other adults, children or pets in the household, where your pet sleeps etc. We will happily place him in a home with kids as he is totally sweet and trustworthy.
