About Jethro

Hey everyone! I'm Jethro! Sooo, you may see that I'm a Coonhound...I've been known to run and run; a fenced-in backyard and constant supervision while outside is something I do require. I have also been known to escape fenced-in areas and not return for a while. What can I say, I love using my sniffer and exploring is my favorite! I'd love for my new family to be familiar with us 'houndy' dogs so I can stay safe! I am super social and friendly and love going up to everyone. I hand out kisses left and right! I can't help it - I'm just a happy dude! Now for some more information, I am heartworm positive. Yeah, it'll take a little more of a commitment to me, but I work hard to make it enjoyable! My good friends here at Michiana do assist with the treatment and are so willing to discuss options if you are interested in adopting me. As long as kiddos are respectful of me, I would love to have the opportunity to be a big-bro! Regarding kitties, I'm kinda interested in them but have been polite. My friends are still watching how I do around them. I've only been around a few other shelter pups, but my overall demeanor and behavior towards others has shown to be positive.
