About Ollie

Ollie is 1 year old, 17lb, Spaniel/terrier/shepherd mix. If there was every a dog that deserves a second chance it's Ollie. Ollie is one of the two dogs we took in to BDDR a while ago. They had been strays in TX since they were just little puppies. They had never experienced kind human contact until they were trapped and brought to CO to get the rehab and training to help them become confident, loving, happy dogs. Humans failed Ollie and his brother Pip from the time he was born, but we would love to show them that not all humans are bad, and that there's a loving family/individual out there willing to give him that second shot at a happy life. Ollie has been in our intensive rehab/training facility since he arrived in CO. He has already gained so much confidence and you can actually see the smile on his face, as opposed to hiding/shaking in the corner when he first arrived. Our trainers feel he is ready to find his forever home. He does still feel more confident around other dogs, and loves to play with other dogs, but is becoming more and more confident with humans. He will need a human who can work on gaining his trust and can continue the wonderful work our trainer has doing. They will get free training for the rest of their lives through our trainer, so they can succeed in their forever homes!
