Howdy chums, it's me, your friendly neighborhood Laith! I am a Redbone Coonhound mix and dangit, I'm ready for my forever home. After living in the shelter and in a foster home forever, I declare that it's high time for me to curl up on my forever couch and chew on some of those tasty forever bones and toys. Better move quick before supplies run out because there is only one Laith! After living in a great foster home with fenced yards and other dogs, I'm confident that I'd do best in a home with a fenced yard and another dog. Don't have another dog, you say? Well, let me suggest my pal Bobby, another hound mix with ADA. We are best buddies and boy, when it comes to romping in a fenced yard or getting your money's worth out of a chew toy, I'd say we get the job done on a professional level. We aren't a bonded pair, but I'd definitely need to have some kind of doggo companion in my forever home. If you'd like to meet me or my pal Bobby, swing by the Augusta Dog Adoptions event at the Waynesboro Petsmart. We're out there every Saturday between 10 AM and 1 PM and boy, would we love to meet you. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
