All because she is a Powderpuff, (she's fluffy, not hairless) her breeders would literally deny her food. A young boy in the breeder's neighborhood would buy Caden food and ask if he could feed her. The breeder one day just told him, 'Take her!' Caden went to another neighbor's home and she phoned us. Caden was so intensely frightened when we arrived she tried to climb the corner of the WALL! We took her. She instantly became best friends with other small dogs we had. Her right eye suffered an injury from an unknown source. After we sought the advice of three local opthalmologists, nothing could be done to save Caden's eye. It had to be removed. Her left eye, however, provides her perfect vision. Due to the abuse Caden suffers from a behavioral trait of wanting to urinate on objects on the ground as a source of claiming they're hers; thus, we keep her in diapers. Our rescue recently had a complete dental performed on Caden. One eye, diapers and yet the sweetest, most delicate, most loving girl on this earth! Good food, grain free and nightly sweet potatoes as a snack have kept Caden healthy and balanced.
