About Alise

Meet our sweet momma, ALISE!!! ��%90� * UPDATE FOR ALISE * We have discovered that Alise is rather shy girl in new situations and with new people. For this reason, Alise will need a home with a fenced yard. It doesn't have to be a large yard, but at least some type of completely fenced-in area where she can feel comfortable off-leash to go potty and relax. Also due to this shyness of new people and situations, Alise will need to go to a home with a person/people who have dog experience and will be extremely PATIENT with her! She needs to be given SPACE and TIME to warm up to everything. She does not do well with a lot of excitement or exuberance. Initially, she tends to be drawn towards women, but she will (with time and patience) warm up to men as well. She just needs some quiet time and an area to herself to get comfortable with her new surroundings. After a few days, she will start to come out of her shell. She is a very sweet girl, and is a great and loving dog! ��ե She was found in Louisiana with her rottie/lab mix puppies. NARPS brought her pups up here, and they were adopted quickly. Alise needed to stay in Louisiana a little while longer to be treated for heartworm before making her long trip up here. ��s� She now has a clean bill of health and is looking for her own forever home and family! ��%8F� Alise is approximately 5-6 years old and is a labrador retriever mix. She is a pretty big girl weighing about 75 lbs.. She's currently being fostered in a home with a small dog, cats, and a toddler. ��%90���%90���� Alise is a very laid-back, calm girl who really just likes to lounge around and snuggle! ���%8D A quick walk is fine with her so she can go back to laying on the sofa.
