Lady was trapped on a cold December evening after a homeowner reported having two newborn kittens in a window well. Animal Control knew the kittens would not have a strong chance of survival without their mother. So a trap was set and hunger and curiosity overwhelmed Lady and she entered the trap. Lady and her kittens were immediately reunited at the shelter where she began to nurse them. Once the kittens were old enough to be weaned they were separated and placed into foster care for proper socialization. Lady is a very shy and quiet cat but we are working with her to see her fully blossom. Though she does not actively seek out attention, we feel that she would thrive in a quiet household with a single person to tend to her needs. Lady is currently in foster care but arrangements can be made for meet and greet for serious adopters.
