About Trixie

Trixie AKA Trixie Pixie Pudding Pie needs a forever home. She's simply too playful for our mellow dogs (they're getting snappy with her) and elderly cats, both of whom are declawed (they came to us like that!). She's spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped (free lifetime membership!), house broken (no accidents!), good with playful dogs, okay with our younger cats just not grumpy old ones, and good with older kids (she's learning her manners and might be too playful for a baby or toddler). She's not toy or food aggressive. She's a love bug! She's an escape artist who will have to live indoors except when supervised outside. If your fence has a hole or weakness, she'll find it and go exploring. She hates crates or kennels BUT is not destructive. She does, however, like to chew shoes (avoidable by not leaving them out) and will shred those fleece beds and toys. She's an approx 18 months old, tiger brindle terrier mix. I didn't have her heart worm tested but she's on a preventative now that would act as a slow kill method if she is positive and prevent her from getting it otherwise. She needs a mostly indoor home where she can have chew bones and rope toys to play with, plenty of exercise and play time... maybe with an older child or playful dog. She loves to cuddle and be where you are! She's unsure of doorways at first but will follow you everywhere if you let her! She was yelled at a LOT in her prior home and possibly abused. Trixie Pixie Pudding Pie deserves a forever home of her own and won't make you cry (haha, lame rhyme!) Seriously, let's get her what she needs... She's an amazing dog!
