Bridget is a beautiful and sweet Cocker Spaniel who is in need of a new home. Her owners write, 'Unfortunately we have too many rescued dogs at home and Bridget the little Cocker Spaniel doesn't get all the attention she deserves with us. Our jobs do not allow us to be home enough to give her proper care.' They have posted Bridget online, but haven't yet had any luck. They are hoping we can help! Name: Bridget Age: 11 years Sex: Female (confirmed spayed) Breed: Cocker Spaniel Location: New Orleans, LA Vet Info: Bridget is confirmed spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is next due for her rabies and booster vaccines in 11/2020. She is heartworm negative. Bridget weighs about 35 pounds. Owner Info: Bridget is an indoor dog confined to one area of the house. She is housebroken and leash trained. Bridget is a friendly girl and is good with people of all ages, and male and female dogs. She currently lives with four other dogs. Her owners don't know how she is with cats. Bridget's owners tell us she's very sweet, but can be possessive of food. 'Bridget is very sweet and very gentle. But when it comes to food, she gets nervous and doesn't share it with any other animals. She had growled at other animals around food. She has never growled at any human about food or anything else.' Bridget has never bitten or snapped. Bridget is completely blind. Her owners write, '...she has no eyes. Her eyes were taken away by a wild animal.' They feel she adapts well to new situations despite her visual impairment and tell us, 'We moved twice and she has adapted very well.' Bridget's owners want us to know what a sweet girl she is! 'She is adorable and extremely sweet...We hope Bridget can find a loving home where she will have all the attention she deserves.' %BD'%BD%BDPlease contact [email protected].
