About Mae

Mae is a 1 to 1 1/2 year old female doberman mix. She has some spots and markings that remind you of a Cattle dog but we are unsure what she is mixed with 100%. Mae will be spayed next week and already up to date on vaccines. Mae was transported from New Mexico after she was found as a stray in a high kill shelter. At her young age and all that she has been through she is a bit skittish and shy until she warms up to new places. She would take a good couple of weeks to settle into a new home like we recommend with all rescues. However, once she warms up she is very quick learner. Mae loves to go for walks and will stick close to your legs. She loves to meet and greet all other dogs and is very playful and shows her puppy side. Mae is crate trained and house broke. She is a true velcro dog and lives to wrap around you. She adores attention and loves to lean on her person. Mae would benefit with working with an R positive trainer with being smart and very food motivated to help her full gain her confidence. All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming.
