About Rose

This classically colored girl is Rose, a 10 month's old Aussie/Cattledog mix. Rose is a very pretty girl. She weighs just under 40 pounds and may grow a bit more. Rose is a gem, ready for the right home. She is looking for a home that can keep her busy. She is smart and already knows wait and sit. House training will be easy since she already knows to go to her crate and sleep without I i sent all night. She also alerts when t is time to get up and go out to potty. Rose is people friendly. She is learning not to jump in people when she is excited to see them, so a home with small kids may not be a fit in case she accidentally knocks them over. Rose is nice with other dogs. She really wants to play, so she is annoying the older dog she lives with. A younger dog who wants a playmate would make a great sibling for Rose. Rose will also be a quick study with fetch. She loves the ball and will chase it. She brings it most of the way back, so it will take little work to get her to understand the game. Rose will be a fantastic adventure partner. She is good on leash and will pull a bit. She is also learning about car rides and rides nicely in a crate. Just a little more exposure should have her loving the car. Rose very much wants to engage with people. She is also very treat motivated. That means that she will be easy to train. She needs a home that knows how to keep an active pup busy and gives enough stimulation that she doesn't have to look for things to occupy her. Rose is spayed (on May 10) and up to date on vaccinations. We do not ship our dogs. She is available for a meeting and adoption in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
