SAY HELLO TO TATUM! Tatum is a beautiful 9 year old Lhasa Apso / Shih Tzu mixed boy. Weighing in at just 13 pounds, this little man is so deserving of the best in life and a loving family to share. Tatum was found as a stray in very poor condition. He was severely matted and had serious dental decay and was in such incredible pain. He has had his teeth cleaned upon intake with us as well as some tooth extractions. Though we have searched for his prior owner, they have never come forward. Even though he was neglected, Tatum is still a very sweet boy and would like a family where someone is home most of the day. Housetraining is unknown as to how much he has had (if any) but he is slowly learning the ropes. He will need a family that can provide gentle guidance to show him their routine. He is mostly Lhasa Apso so you know that he is very smart! Tatum probably would prefer to be an only dog or with another dog he does not have to 'play' with. He would do well with an older person or couple in a quiet home. He is endearing and attentive and true to the Lhasa Apso breed, he would like to have his own special person who will care for him an love him. He will offer you unending love in return. Tatum walks proudly on his leash and greets all that he meets very respectfully. He sits like a gentleman during his rides in the car. He comes to you when you call him, is not a barker and does not chew on anything other than a chew toy. Tatum is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Tatum's adoption fee is 375.00 This fee includes his Wellness Checks upon intake at our rescue, his neuter, his professional dental cleaning with several tooth extractions, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, microchip with lifetime membership and professional groom.
