About ELTON (BONDED W. SONNI

SAY HELLO TO ELTON! Elton is an adorable all white 2 year old Shih Tzu boy. Elton is bonded with his buddy Sonni and will only be adopted together as a pair. Weighing in at just 15 pounds, he is sweet and has a typical laid back, love everyone kind of temperament. Elton LOVES to play with other dogs and we would prefer to see him with another young dog that is similar in size, age and temperament. Elton came to us through no fault of his own as his owners could no longer care for him. Elton has no health issues. He came to us with Sonni as his family could no longer care for him. Elton will need some gentle guidance with house training as we do not believe that was ever shown to him. He does seem to mark and his foster is working on that with him. Elton really just needs some back to basics housetraining! His being neutered should help a lot. He is very sweet and bright and is learning well. Elton walks very nicely on his leash and greets everyone he meets. Typical of the Shih Tzu personality, no one is a stranger and everyone is a friend. Elton enjoys his car rides taking in the sites and smells. He is not the barky type nor does he chew anything that doesn't require chewing! He comes when you call him and enjoys tossing aound his toys! Elton is a favorite to all that meet him and would do very well with a family that has adults or adults with older kids who will respect and understand his small size. So kids older than 9 - no infants, toddlers or little kids. Elton would also thrive in a family that has another dog similar in size, age and temperament. Elton is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Elton and Sonni's COMBINED adoption fee is 900.00 This fee includes both Wellness Checks upon intake at our rescue, both neuters, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, microchip with lifetime membership and professional groom.
