About Bandit

Bandit is a 1 year old male Purebred Pomeranian, about 7 pounds. Bandit came to us from a hoarding home of 50+ dogs. He had very little handling before he came to us and was the last to offer to be friendly after 4 months. He is doing well but has a long way to go. He would still be classified as unsocialized and a flight risk, however he is allowing handling. He will now sit in your lap and asked to be picked up. He is doing well in his foster home with kids, dogs and cats. He would do best with another dog in the home to help him understand what real life is about. He is just starting to walk on a leash. He needs a solid fenced yard as he is a flight risk. He will be a long term project, but well worth it. Adoption contract and fee applies. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Notice: We do not ship dogs out of state. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.at the fosters home.
