He is 60 lbs (gained 10 lbs since arrival in the East Valley Shelter as a stray on 2/11/18), status post malignant superficial sarcoma removal surgery in March, no metastasis per Shelter biopsy report. His appetite is excellent. He is very good with human, walking on leash, and calm during long car ride. I adopted him on April 25,2018; took him home, introduced him to my other 3 dogs, and gave him a warm bath. The problem was that when my three dogs (12.5 year-old female medium pitbull, 7 year-old male medium Labrador, and 4 year-old male German Shephard) approached him, he began to growl, and he would get louder so I knew something going to happen. Before he attacked I was able to interfere but there were 3 times quite close to actual fight but my dogs ran faster and they were afraid of him at times. He did not want to be alone so he followed me everywhere. I could protect him and my other dogs them from fighting. No injury occurred but I am afraid that someone going to get hurt because I am not able to watch him 24/7. So next day (April 26), I had to return him to East Valley Shelter before he gets too attach to me. As soon as he realized where he was when I opened the car door, he refused to get out of the car. It really breaks my heart just to recall it. Thrombone is a wonderful and beautiful dog, he has suffered enough. He needs TLC, and I believe that he will turn into someone's little sweet baby as I wish for if I did not have other dogs. He will do well with a family that does not own other dogs. I do not know what his fate will be since East Valley shelter does put dogs down, so I am asking your help. If you can find him a home or a no kill shelter for him, I will make monthly donation to your organization.
