Thanks for your cooperation!*** Lami, female chihuahua 7.8 lbs 6 years old. she loves yoga! Her potty training is going really well and she loves to play with her foster brother. Very sweet and loves belly rubs!- words directly from her foster mom. Poor sweet Lami, she has yet again the same story of a little dog in a kill shelter of a death camp in Korea. Lami needed out and the wonderful rescue we work with in Korea went and saved Lami's life as she was given a deadline to be saved from the shelter. The wonderful rescue in Korea took Lami and placed her in one of their foster homes and showed her what love is. From the experience in the foster home in Korea, it was quite clear that Lami had been truly loved by someone. How she ended up in the shelter we will never know. When Lami was picked up from the shelter she was wearing an adorable little tutu. Lami is 6 years old, spayed, up-to-date on her shots, chipped, heart worm negative, and is super sweet and affectionate. You can tell whoever previously had Lami really loved her. Lami enjoys being picked up and carried around; she gets along great with cats, dogs & goats & respectful teenagers. She currently sleeps on the bed with the teenage daughter and will whine at her for attention. She does not like crates at all and absolutely must go to a home with both someone present in the home and another dog present in the home. As with all of our rescues, Lami will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Lami & going through the process and have read her listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview, and a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it's a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Lami that meet all the requirements for this little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately Lami has an adoption fee of $550 & is ready for her forever home. __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS.
