About Vita

Vita is fostered in Indian Rocks Beach, FL (Pinellas County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Vita is a fun, sweet dog who would be a great walking or jogging buddy. She is about 1.5 years and 49 lbs. She is crate trained and has learned to sit and wait before coming out of the crate in the past couple of days. She is very smart and needs a handler that won't be outsmarted! Vita loves to play fetch, and plays tug with another canine appropriately. If she goes to a home with another dog, she will need a match in average temperament that can handle a rougher, assertive play style. She walks well on a leash with no reaction to humans or dogs. She knows sit and come, and is learning stay and not to jump on humans when excited in a short period of time. She does fine with all adults, but we do not recommend she go to a home with small children. Vita is housebroken, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm negative.
