About Toby

Toby is a 13 year old black and tan dachshund weighing approximately 16 pounds. We took Toby into our rescue in the fall, however, we realized he had some significant medical issues. He has cushing's disease which requires daily medication. After realizing that his medical issues were complex, we decided to make him a sanctuary dog. A sanctuary dog is one that is fostered in a home, but all medical expenses are covered by our rescue. We are looking for a wonderful person to take Toby in and care for him for the rest of his life. We would prefer someone in the metrowest Boston area but this is negotiable. He is a sweet boy and would love someone to snuggle with. He has had disc issues in the past, so he needs to find a place where he won't be required to climb stairs or permits jumping. He may have accidents from time to time, however, a good consistent routine will help greatly with this. This handsome man is looking for the right place and foster home - could it be yours?
