About Red

Hi, my name is Red, a very cute 6-year-old guy who was surrendered to the shelter because my owner wasn't allowed to have me at their residence. I would prefer to be the only pet in my home, since I like to have all the attention to myself and am not interested in sharing my humans. I can be uncomfortable around other dogs and am picky when choosing my canine friends. I'm not a 'dog park' kind of dog and will chase cats. I'm smart, and know lots of commands, including sit, down, shake and rollover. I love treats and can get a bit excited when taking them, so help me learn to take treats more gently by offering them on a flat palm. I want to spend my time indoors with my people! Hanging out in the backyard alone won't be enough for me, since I may get lonely and try to go find you. I am housetrained, like to play fetch and enjoy meeting new human friends.
