About Maddie

Meet Maddie. Maddie is in need of a new home. We have a beautiful dog who is super sweet and loving. She needs to go to a single pet home. Born in 2011. We first got her in Jan 2013 from Pet Alliance. She's adorable, usually quite happy, and very affectionate. She's a diva. She's not very active but has moments of of hyperactivity like when people come around. Absolutely loves people and kids but is a complete failure when it comes to being anything like a guard dog. She doesn't bark much but does rather well in the whining department (like when wanting attention). She's not fond of being left alone. Doesn't get along very well with other dogs that might take attention away from her. She'd make a great companion for someone who could be attached to just her. She's possessive and completely devoted. She needs to be treated like the princess she believes herself to be. Emotionally needy. Can get along with other dogs but usually, especially initially, has an absolute need to dominate. Highly possessive over what she sees as her belongings. Does not like to share bones, beds, toys, or people. She as accidents, often because she thinks she's too good to poop in the grass. Doesn't like rain, wet grass, high grass, thunder, fireworks, or other loud noises. She can be skiddish and will tremble during thunderstorms. She pulls on the leash in her desire to lead. You belong to her, she doesn't belong to you. She has a silky white coat which makes petting her desirable. Easy to bathe. Overall she's very loving and devoted to her owner. If you're looking for an oversized lap-dog or a princess you can pamper, this is the dog for you.
