About Clyde

Clyde would benefit from a foster (or patient adoptive) home with an more confident dog to learn from. He is currently in Connecticut with his foster until October. We pay for all veterinary expenses and preventives for our foster dogs. Foster applications can be found at ewenityfarmsbch.com. Gentle and shy with not a mean bone in his body, Clyde is a 3-4 year-old, approximately 40 lb Australian cattle dog x pointer mix who needs some TLC. He came into rescue over a year ago having been semi-feral, and has made great strides. He walks nicely on leash and is learning how to swim in the pool. He needs a calm, quiet atmosphere, a kind dog or two, a secure fenced yard, and a loving, patient person who will work with him. He is very food-motivated and does enjoy being petted when he approaches you. He will play with other dogs and likes toys! He needs someone who will get him out and about and teach him all about the world. He is very perceptive and sensitive to the mood in the room. He is very intelligent and curious. Clyde is housebroken, loves his crate (his safe place), and will be rehabilitated with time. Please get in touch if you are interested in fostering him.
