About Misty, Toy Aussie Mix

Meet the beautiful Mini Aussie mix named Misty! She is GORGEOUS!! Her beautiful merle coloring, long beautiful and wavy hair, and stunning blue specks in her eyes! She has all the characteristics of an Australian Shepherd but she is pint sized at only 11.5 pounds. Misty loves to be with other dogs, she has very strong herding instinct and will chase other dogs - especially bigger ones that she can bark at them and nip at their heels. She loves people but is shy to be picked up at first but still wiggles and licks your fingers until she is ready to be picked up. Misty must have a fenced and secure backyard to run and play - not good for an apartment. Misty has been spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and ready for a home of her own! WE ARE IN ABILENE, TEXAS. WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR PETS, WE REQUIRE ADOPTERS MEET THE DOG TO MAKE SURE IT IS A GOOD FIT. NOTE: We are a rescue, the dogs are in foster homes. WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. We require an application BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets. We contact vets to ensure that pets already in the adoptive home are current on vaccines, heartworm prevention and sterilized.
